Banned List – Oct 11

Primeval Titan [] Stays Free

On our August 2nd announcement, we released Primeval Titan [] into the wild. We are happy to see that the power level displayed in testing has held, providing a powerful and potent card for new lines of play without ending the game too early. We will continue to monitor its impact and are excited by its success.

Recurring Nightmare [] – Unbanned

Through testing, we have found Recurring nightmare [] to be a good tool for gaining value in a grindy match up. Due to the fast-paced nature of Oathbreaker, it becomes more of a reward for getting to the grind, rather than being a goal in and of itself.

Further Changes?

We are still investigating some of the cards discussed in the last announcement before making any further changes. We believe Oathbreaker, as with many things, is worth taking time to get it right.

Our next banned list announcement will be on January 2nd, 90 days after the release of Throne of Eldraine. As always, let us know your thoughts or questions in the comments below, on reddit /r/OathbreakerMTG, or @oathbreakermtg on twitter.
