No, There is Too Much.

Wow, it’s been an amazing week here at oathbreakermtg.org. We never expected that our first week of public exposure would be THIS popular. The community has made us proud, inspired us, and helped prove that this is a format that has staying power. We can’t wait to see where Oathbreaker goes from here.

So let’s explain what happened this week. In the famous words of Inigo Montoya: “No, there is too much. Let me sum up.”

We had some big Magic personalities start talking about the format. The Professor has called it his favorite format! MtgGoldfish added support for Oathbreakers and Signature Spells! There was buzz at Jumbo, LRR, EDHREC, CMDR vs, Command Zone Variants, and CFB (to list off a few)…

We interviewed one of the creators of the format! An Interview with and Oathmaker.

We had some amazing deck techs this week.

We got a look at 5 decks geared towards helping people join in the format.

Speaking of spreading the love of the format and helping people join in, we started PROJECT OATHBUILDER with the mission: To expand the love and popularity of Oathbreaker by creating a database of entry level (low cost) decks that are fun to play and powerful enough to hold their own at their first Oathbreaker game.

We talked about the pros and cons of the format. Kel of RedZoneMTG told us all why we should be playing Oathbreaker. Chesh gave us some stormy advice (see deck tech above)

We started to dive into the world of MTG Finance and Oathbreaker.

If that’s not enough, stay tuned for next week! Exciting things to come!

In the meantime, remember that the fine folks over at Weirdcards created this format. Please donate to Magikids and help them turn unused Magic cards into learning and fun for kids!
